AgeSong Marin discussion groups provide conversation and connection for seniors who wish to explore life’s “third act.” Each group of six to eight participants (plus two facilitators) meets during the day for 90 minutes once weekly for 8 weeks.
When the Shelter-In-Place order is lifted, groups will again meet at various sites throughout Marin County. In the meantime, groups are meeting online through Zoom until it is safe to hold the groups in person.
Throughout time, humans have been storytellers. It’s those stories that help us maintain the memory of who we were and who we are now. Sharing stories and memories makes sense of our lives and helps us see patterns which integrate our life experiences. AgeSong offers a unique opportunity to connect with others and ourselves through our stories.
We are now offering our online groups at a rate of $40 for the 8 week session, reduced from our standard fee of $80.
Due to the current Shelter-In-Place order we are not holding in-person groups at this time.
We understand the value of conversation and connection particularly in times like these. We are now providing groups online through Zoom and we will be forming two new groups in the coming weeks.
